Jamie Linker & Austin York

Friday, August 19th, 2022

Love is in the air with Jamie and Austin’s romantic Valentine’s Day wedding at The Ostreum. The couple who met on Tinder mixed an Art Deco aesthetic with a Valentine’s Day theme to create this one-of-a-kind romantic and moody Fort Worth wedding. Located at The Ostreum, this hidden gem warehouse wedding venue provided the Art Deco touch the couple wanted with its upscale modern speakeasy feel. Planning a wedding is no easy task, which Jamie and Austin quickly learned after getting engaged. Therefore, the couple hired Artisan Rose Event Co. to help them plan all the beautiful details for their February wedding. Jamie said, “We attempted to navigate vendors ourselves, but I had no clue about the design piece. Artisan Rose Event Co’s expertise was so helpful in pulling together all of those pieces.” All the details came together beautifully on February 12th with a talented group of vendors!

Jamie and Austin’s perfect day began with a bit of snowfall as the two got ready to celebrate their love. Finally, family and friends gathered inside The Ostreum to witness the beautiful union of the couple. Inside the ceremony, a heart-shaped arch adorned with florals served as the ceremony backdrop. After becoming each other’s valentine forever, the new Mr. and Mrs. York headed into their romantic reception to celebrate! Completed with flickering candlelight, red roses, and dinner from COHOST, the v-day inspired reception definitely stole our hearts. In addition, we all know that Valentine’s Day is the sweetest holiday. Therefore a stunning cake and dessert bar from Butterfly Cakery was a necessity. Although the day felt like a blur for Jamie and Austin, the couple slowed down time with their last dance before exiting as husband and wife.

If you still feel all the love, keep scrolling to see more inside Jamie and Austin’s Valentine’s Day-inspired wedding!

Jamie and Austin’s Favorite Wedding Day Memory:

From the Bride, “Hands down my favorite part was the last dance. It’s true when people say the day is so much of a blur. However, I remember every single aspect of our last dance. Everyone cleared the room and we danced in the dimly lit light, with candles and flowers surrounding the space, to John Legend’s Never Break.”

Kayla Bender & Rere Ayeni

Tuesday, August 16th, 2022

If you’re looking for a wedding full of fall tones, look no further than Kayla and Rere’s modern chic November wedding. The adorable couple had not one but two breathtaking weddings full of gorgeous details we can’t wait to share! The couple met, as Kayla described, “not the traditional way, but it was the perfect way for us.” When Kayla moved back to Dallas, she searched for local coffee shops. While searching on Instagram, Kayla clicked an ad with a coffee and bagel image. The ad downloaded an app, which Kayla believed was for a coffee shop. Upon opening the app, Kayla quickly discovered it was a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagels. Shocked and intrigued, Kayla decided to go for it! She’s thrilled she did because Kayla matched with Rere a couple of weeks later. After their magical first date, the couple knew they had found a forever love.

Kayla and Rere’s modern chic fall wedding entailed two days of celebration! A main priority for the couple was to incorporate Rere’s Nigerian culture. Therefore, Kayla and Rere included an additional Yoruba wedding ceremony along with a traditional wedding ceremony and reception. Both wedding celebrations contained beautiful fall tones of terracotta, beige, cream, and blush.

On the morning of Kayla and Rere’s traditional wedding celebration, Kayla and her best friends got ready at The Adolphus Hotel. After changing into a beautiful gown from Lulu’s Bridal, Kayla was eager to reveal her bridal look to her soon-to-be husband. Following their first look, where the couple shared their personal vows, it was finally time to say, “I do.” Kayla said, “The ceremony made all the wedding planning stress worth it. We laughed, cried, and became one under God!” At last, the couple was ready to celebrate with BBQ and 2000s RnB with all of their guests. After dancing the night away, Kayla and Rere didn’t want the night to end. However, the couple gets to experience their wedding day again with a wedding film from Midnight Embers and a gorgeous wedding gallery you can scroll through below. Cheers to the new Mr. Rere & Mrs. Kayla Ayeni!

One Thing Kayla and Rere Learned While Planning their Wedding:

“Through our year-long engagement, I learned to remember the most significant reason why we were getting married, which was coming together to be joined as one in front of God as well as our family and friends — no detail I was stressed about could overtake that importance!”

Lindsay Stengle & David Chang

Monday, August 15th, 2022

Lindsay and David’s English garden party wedding will surely bring you joy with its bright pink florals, blue decor, and alpaca ring bearers! Yes, you read that right, alpaca ring bearers- adorable! Lindsay and David, who a mutual friend set up, took a trip to Peru, where their love for alpacas and each other began. David used “marry me” alpaca cupcakes to propose. Therefore it was only fitting that alpacas made an appearance on their big day. When it came to planning their dream wedding, Lindsay felt inspired by the show Bridgerton, which resulted in their beautiful English garden party wedding that Daphne Bridgerton herself would love.

The florals inside Lindsay and David’s big day have our hearts swooning. When the couple first got engaged, Lindsay ordered 200 peonies from Alaska to arrive during their wedding week. Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe incorporated these gorgeous pink blooms into every arrangement! In addition, Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe integrated Zinnias, which Lindsay grew in her own garden, into the bridal bouquet in honor of Lindsay’s grandparents. The bold and bright colors didn’t stop here. Posh Couture Rentals provided the most beautiful bold and blue rentals that beautifully accented the pink floral arrangements. We love how the couple used a sophisticated variety of bright colors creating such a joyful and elegant wedding and reception! After dancing the night away to a playlist of their “college dance party” favorites, the couple made their grand exit.

Lindsay and David’s Favorite Wedding Detail:

From the bride, “In memory of my grandparents, I grew zinnias in my garden, which Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe incorporated into my bridal bouquet. That was really meaningful to me.”

Enchanté: Emily in Paris Inspired Dinner Party

Tuesday, August 9th, 2022

This Parisian dinner party soirée inspired by Netflix’s Emily in Paris is Emily Cooper-approved and oh-so très chic! The charming portrayal of Lily Collins’ character Emily Cooper as an American living in the City of Lights inspired us to create a dinner reception that Emily herself would find Insta-worthy! Shot at the Hotel Crescent Court in Uptown Dallas, their courtyard garden made for the perfect setting for an intimate dinner party.

One of the show’s magnetic draws is Emily Cooper’s iconic style. Therefore, we imagine Emily would be head over heels to wear this designer ball gown with its statement blue bow-back from Stanley Korshak Bridal Salon. Even Bethany’s Letter Shop took inspiration from Emily Cooper’s iconic style when designing the chic invitation suite for this French soirée. In addition, Etoilly Artistry gave our gorgeous model, Natalia, the Emily power pony and soft makeup look representing her girl boss personality.

As an ambitious marketing executive, Emily knows how to throw a party that will make her luxury clients trend on all social platforms. We can only imagine Emily would find herself creating this exact romantic dinner party under the Paris stars! With pink peony arrangements made by Lush Couture Floral and chinoiserie dinnerware from Posh Couture Rentals, this table setup is so élégant. Finally, you can’t have a French-inspired soirée without a macaron tower from Savor Patisserie– the perfect sweet addition that ties in the entire table. The talented Megan Kay Photography captured every romantic French detail we can’t wait to share below! If you don’t want all of this inspiration to end, you’re in luck! Check out Simply Ivory Videography’s behind the scene video below. Santé!

From invitation designer, Bethany’s Letter Shop: “As I watched Emily in Paris, I took notes and saved photos of outfits I liked throughout the show because the little details in an invitation suite are my absolute favorite part, especially with real couples. Eventually I took inspiration from a specific dress that Emily wore on the show, and went from there! Flowers are a big theme, so I knew I wanted to incorporate dried flowers in the wax seals. I even added in some French verbiage to the RSVP card and menu!”

Andrea Gallardo & Joey Sánchez

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022

Explore Andrea and Joey’s urban engagement shoot by Molly Murphy Photography. The couple’s contagious smiles and romantic images caught our attention. Andrea and Joey started dating seven years ago after meeting through mutual friends. The couple shared their adorable engagement story with us! The day before Thanksgiving, Andrea walked in the front door of their home after a long day of work. As she walked inside their house, a mariachi band began to play, and she saw her to-be-fiancé on one knee next to their adorable corgi. No ring was inside when Joey opened the box, leaving Andrea completely confused. Joey was so nervous that he forgot the ring on the kitchen counter! However, after finding the ring, Andrea said, “yes,” to marry her forever!

Andrea and Joey’s shoot took place at two downtown Dallas parking garage locations creating the perfect backdrop for an urban engagement shoot. The golden hour sun reflected off the downtown buildings for a magical photography moment! All the images Molly Murphy Photography captured of the two are timeless and fresh. Andrea and Joey will always look back at all these images and remember this joyous time in their life. The two plan to elope in March of 2023. We wish them all the best as they plan their upcoming special day! Keep scrolling to see more beautiful images captured by Molly Murphy Photography.

Kristin Shipman & Daniel Gray

Thursday, July 21st, 2022

Kristin and Daniel’s garden wedding is the perfect mix of preppy and classic with its soft pastel colors and blush blooms Lush Couture Floral. The sweet couple met through mutual friends back in 2016. However, it took a couple of months, a group outing with friends, and a little liquid courage for Daniel to finally ask Kristin on a date. The two have been together ever since, and while on a weekend getaway to Fredericksburg, TX, Daniel got down on one knee. After the reality of getting engaged set in, Kristin and Daniel hired Celebrate Dallas to help them plan their dream wedding day. The couple initially set their wedding date for April of 2020. However, due to Covid, they had to postpone their wedding twice. The couple said, “We 1000% could not have made it through a wedding, let alone a Covid wedding, without our coordinator Caitlin.” Shoutout to Caitlin!

After a 2.5-year engagement, Kristin and Daniel finally said, “I do.” The couple kicked off the weekend of celebrations with a rehearsal dinner at Magdalena’s. At last, the day the couple had long awaited was finally here! Kristin and Daniel wrote their vows and recited them before the ceremony. Kristin wanted to keep things traditional, so the couple said their vows behind a wall. Moments later, during their outdoor ceremony, Kristin finally caught a glimpse of her handsome groom dressed in a Generation Tux standing at the altar. Their outdoor ceremony, overcast skies, and a floral arch from Lush Couture Floral were breathtaking and everything the couple dreamed of. After the ceremony, cocktail hour followed with bartending from HD Liquid Catering. Finally, Kristin and Daniel were introduced to the reception and danced the night away with guests. Keep scrolling to see more details below! Cheers!

Kristin and Daniel’s Dream Wedding Maker:

“Without a doubt, our wedding coordinator, Caitlin of Celebrate Dallas. We had to postpone our wedding twice, and even though nobody knew what was about to happen with COVID-19. Caitlin was able to keep Daniel and I calm and provide as much insight as she could.”

Alexis Kates & Ryan Merrill

Tuesday, July 19th, 2022

Alexis and Ryan’s clean wedding aesthetic with neutral tones and a touch of boho is absolutely dreamy! The couple initially met in 2017 through mutual friends. A whole year passed without seeing one another, but fate decided to reunite the two. While both randomly out in Fort Worth, Alexis and Ryan ran into one another and exchanged numbers. Three nights later, the two went on their first date, and from that night on, they knew they had found their forever. Ryan got down on one knee in Alexis’ hometown of Morgan City, Louisiana. Her family was able to watch the entire special moment through the window of their home and celebrated the rest of the weekend with the beautiful bride-to-be!

Alexis and Ryan said, “I do,” on a beautiful September evening at Firefly Gardens. Looking like an absolute princess, Alexis wore a Romona Keveza gown from Bridal Boutique After having their first touch, Alexis was eager to run down the aisle and meet Ryan at the altar. Alexis said, “Watching Ryan see me for the first time as a Bride was the most special moment. I could see the love and happiness all over his face.” After becoming Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Merrill, they entered the beautiful reception space. Posh Couture Rentals provided neutral rentals, while Satin Pavement created custom signage to create a dreamy reception. In addition, Butterfly Cakery added to the neutral tones with a classic four-tiered cake with pampas grass detailing. It was a spectacular night for the Merrill’s, thanks to their fantastic wedding planner, Blissful Weddings & Events. Kennedy Smith & Kevin Clougherty

Wednesday, July 13th, 2022

Nothing grabs our attention faster than a sweet southern dusty blue wedding, so of course, we have to share all the details in Kennedy and Kevin’s big day. The couple met in Boston while Kennedy was an undergrad at Northeastern University and Kevin was working for the Red Sox. The two hit things off immediately, and it wasn’t long after they knew they had found their forever. In the summer of 2020, Kevin proposed on a weekend trip to Cape Cod after returning from a Marine Corps deployment in Okinawa, Japan. After the reality of being engaged set in, Kennedy and Kevin began planning their wedding back in the heart of Texas. The couple invited guests to witness their marriage with stunning invitation suites from Brown Fox Creative. We love the attention to detail on these invites with an outline of their venue, Lazy S Hacienda.

When Kennedy and Kevin’s big day finally arrived, the couple couldn’t be more excited to become husband and wife at the Lazy S Hacienda. The couple said, “I do,” with an outdoor ceremony overlooking a pasture as horses lingered behind the altar. It doesn’t get more Texas than that! After becoming the new Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Clougherty, Kennedy and Kevin made their grand entrance and proceeded into their first dance. Loot Rentals provided all the decor and rentals to create an enchanting dusty blue reception. Guests enjoyed dinner from Magdalena’s before they hit the dance floor to celebrate. Kennedy and Kevin ended the night with a private final dance. Kennedy said, “our private last dance allowed us to reconnect, take a breath, and just enjoy that moment together.” Sami Kathryn Photography captured all the magical moments we get to share with all of you! Keep scrolling to see more.

One thing Kennedy and Kevin Learned Planning their Wedding:

“Even though wedding planning can seem tedious or stressful, it is such a joyful time! Don’t get lost in it all and enjoy your engagement because it goes by so fast!”
