A Blend of Traditions in a Wedding Filled with an Elegant Ambiance

We love hearing how couples from two different cultures and religions celebrate a blend of their traditions within their wedding. In Jillian and Lev’s, they blended Russian, Jewish, Christian, and American traditions. Lev is Russian and Jewish, while Jillian is American and Christian. The two spent a lot of time educating each other on their most important traditions. With the help of their talented team of wedding vendors, Jillian and Lev created a perfectly blended wedding of their dreams. Jillian and Lev met while attending a concert back in 2016. Lev came over and struck up a conversation with Jillian. They spent the rest of the evening chatting and exchanging numbers before parting ways. They quickly made plans to see each other the following weekend, and well, the rest is history. After three years of dating, Lev proposed to Jillian with the most beautiful ring.

Their wedding with a blend of traditions at Legends Hall at The Marq was elegant, classy, and oh so romantic. The couple blended both of their traditions within the ceremony and reception. For example, the couple served an authentic Russian family-style dinner. Their guests absolutely loved this! Inside their reception space, Florals from Something Pretty Floral created a statement with large blooms of white and pink florals. Each centerpiece made for a dramatic element that brought all the elegance. In addition, gold-accented decor from Marquee Event Rental and candles added to the warm and elegant ambiance. Finally, we can’t forget one of our favorite details of any wedding… the cake! A beautiful four-tiered cake with added florals from Creme de la Creme Cake Company we know tasted just as good as it looked. Your wedding goes by in a blink of an eye. Luckily for Jillian and Lev, they had BSR Wedding Films capture the entire day for them to playback for the rest of their lives. We are so happy that Jillian and Lev shared their blend of traditions with us. Keep scrolling to see all the elegant and romantic details. Cheers!

From the bride: “Our vision for our wedding was to have a perfect blend of our religions, cultures and traditions. Lev is Jewish and Russian, while I am Christian and American. We spent a lot of time educating each other on traditions that were most important to us. With the help of our family and friends and our amazing team of vendors, we were able to create the perfectly blended wedding of our dreams!”
