Brittany and Conrad opted for a beautiful French-inspired wedding with blue detailing at The Olana for their most special day. The couple met in law school, where they started off as just being study buddies. However, throughout law school, their relationship grew, and by their third year, the two started dating. Conrad proposed while on a trip to LA. The couple went for a hike and “ran into” a mutual friend who also happened to be a photographer. When Brittany and Conrad got to the top overlooking the city, their friend said they should get a picture. Brittany started to pose for a photo when suddenly Conrad got down on one knee. Brittany said “yes” to forever with Conrad, and the two began planning their fairytale wedding!

After pushing their wedding back nine months and overcoming the Dallas February snowstorm, Brittany and Conrad finally said, “I do.” Brittany said, “we had quite a few setbacks in the days leading up and the day of, but everything seemed to fall together perfectly once the ceremony started.” Brittany and Conrad felt all the love in the room as they officially tied the knot in front of family and friends. After the ceremony, guests and the couple were ready to celebrate! Satin Pavement went above and beyond, providing decor and rentals that created a reception straight out of a fairytale. In addition, guests were in for a treat with coffee from Nightowl Coffee Cart and a sweet bite from Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery. Brittany and Conrad celebrated Conrad’s African heritage with a second outfit change with the wedding party and family changing into asoebi to show the unity of family/community. Shawn Yang Films, LLC didn’t miss a beat and captured all the special moments on film for the couple to play back. We are so excited to share all the details of Brittany and Conrad’s big day. Brittany and Conrad’s Dream Wedding Maker:

“Onikéh Brown-Wilson with Satin Pavement took everything I had in mind and brought it to life. She had a hand in everything and it was nice to have that level of support from someone who knows the industry so well. Everything came out beautifully.”
