Colorful Gatsby Inspired Wedding from Jacqueline Events & Design | Kaley + Justin
SWEET BEGINNINGS: Kaley and Justin met through OkCupid and shortly after had their first date. Come to find out, they had both attended Dallas Baptist University at the same time but never crossed paths. They ended up having a ton of mutual friends, including Justin’s roommate at the time. It was fate!
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Justin took Kaley to Salado, Texas, under the guise of visiting family. After leading her down a pathway into the woods lined with hundreds of candles, there was a bottle of champagne waiting to toast right after he got down on one knee. He proposed to her underneath a Japanese pagoda and of course she said yes!
THE SETTING: The couple chose the Warwick Melrose Hotel as their venue. Kaley wanted her wedding to have a bohemian Gatsby feel, which she accomplished by embracing the vintage elements of the hotel and infusing color and glitz to show off the couple’s personalities.
FAB FLORALS: Kaley’s bridal bouquet was bright and gorgeous with coral, fuchsia and blush peonies, berry red piano roses, ranunculus, poppies, pale peach Juliet English garden roses, keira garden roses, blooming branches, Queen Anne’s lace, buplerum, and hellebores. The look was finished off in silk and willow ribbon with a tailored bow.
VENDOR LOVE: Kaley and Justin agree their wedding planner, Jacqueline Hill, was their favorite wedding vendor to work with. Jacqueline was so knowledgeable and eager to help in every step of the process. The night went so smoothly, Kaley never had to worry about a thing.
