SWEET BEGINNINGS: Rachel and Eric were born in the same hospital a year and 10 days apart. They grew up in the same community. When Eric moved to Park City, Utah, Rachel and her family would visit each year. After some encouragement from her family members, Rachel and Eric pursued a relationship, and the rest is history!
HUES SHE USED: Rachel loves mixing color and texture, so she wanted to have fun with the linens and florals. She mixed contemporary and traditional décor to create a garden-style wedding inside a ballroom. By including lots of ivory, pinks and peach with green accents, the color palette aligned perfectly with the theme.
AISLE STYLE: After trying on different styles, shapes, colors and fabrics, Rachel concluded that she is a princess bride at heart. Her gorgeous gown was made by Alvina Valenta from Stardust Celebrations and fit her personality exactly! Instead of a veil, Rachel wore a beautiful headband.
SPECIAL TRADITIONS: Since Rachel is Jewish, it was important to incorporate some tradition into their wedding ceremony. Rachel and Eric stood under a stunning chuppah while a rabbi married them. They drank wine out of kiddush cups, and Eric stepped on a glass at the end of their wedding. Afterward, the broken glass was sent back to the manufacturer to create a mezuzah.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: Rachel and Eric had a pianist play during the cocktail hour held in the foyer. Their cocktail furniture was custom-built, which included grey velvet sofas and love seats with pops of blush pillows, and glass coffee tables. They also had an incredible double bar custom-made for the wedding. It had mirrors on the bar façade, ivy pedestals with large arrangements on both sides and an ivy bar back with floating pink flowers.
