Kara Kressin and David Venegoni’s Classic Wedding at Stonebriar Country Club
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Kara and David dated for six years before he proposed. David proposed the weekend of Kara’s birthday at her grandparent’s lake house. Her grandma told her she needed help shopping for an outfit, so Kara drove up and took her out. Surprisingly, she kept ditching Kara to take calls. Little did she know, her grandma was giving updates to David and her grandfather back at the lake house. When they arrived home, David came in from the balcony and proposed right in the center of the living room in front of the floor to ceiling fireplace. Kara’s grandpa was hiding and got the whole thing on video.
AMAZING ALTAR: Emily at Petals Couture draped the backdrop and ceremony arch with a gorgeous, soft material in white with blush ties. The flowers were a gorgeous combination of peonies and greenery. Emily also took two of the tall centerpieces that would later be used at the reception and placed them on pillars entering the ceremony location, which created such a beautiful and dramatic effect.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: When they made their exit from the ceremony there was a moment where Kara and David thought they were out of sight, David pulled her aside under the balcony of the club and gave her the biggest kiss! It was a moment of pure emotion and joy, and their photographers caught it. It was everything they felt right after saying “I Do” caught in a picture – something Kara treasures to this day.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The invitations were a product of both Kara and Kelly from Pink Champagne Paper’s creative visions. They incorporated Kara and David’s colors but added floral and earthy touches to make the invites soft and elegant.
