As fall is just starting to cool things down, this tropical elopement inspiration made for the modern couple came to heat things right back up! Nontraditional weddings are increasingly more popular as couples navigate getting married in a global pandemic and with less guests, it means you can be more creative with your choice of venue! Small spaces are getting utilized in new and exciting ways to host dream weddings and we especially loved how this styled shoot’s unique setting only helped in making it all the more beautiful, captured in vibrant photos by the talented Melissa Claire PhotographyKeep it fun and fresh with your wedding look by donning a bridal jumpsuit like this one from Stanley Korshak Bridal Salon paired with the perfect billowy cape for all the drama. This eloping bride and her stylish groom clad in salmon suit posed in sweet shots around their nontraditional venue. Tropical ginger flowers and eclectic stems from Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shop worked as living art on outdoor tablescapes surrounded in misty jungle fog while an elegant emerald green invitation suite designed by Hazelwood Paper Co. set the romantic wedding mood. Keep scrolling to take in all the modern tropical elopement inspiration goodness for yourself in scenes so vivid we feel like we could actually stop and smell the flowers. Cheers!

From the photographer, Melissa Claire Photography: “We put together a palette of bright colors with a tropical theme, gathered an incredible team of vendors and encouraged them to do what they do best! We wanted this to be a creative outlet for everyone and you can see the awesome results!

Our bride and groom models are in fact a real couple. The groom wore the most incredible pink suit, whilst the bride rocked green hair with a bridal jumpsuit and cape… and we held our fake ceremony at golden hour. The colors, the settings, and the sounds of the animals! It was like being transported to a different world.

We designed this shoot with the modern and offbeat eloping couple in mind utilizing small spaces, curated decor, and a tropical holiday mood. Don’t be afraid to step out of the norm, rock a wedding jumpsuit, use bright color and cut your guest list if you want to, or as was the case in 2020, have to!”
