When Morgan moved to Dallas from Washington, she and her sister went to a baseball game in hopes of meeting friends. This is where Morgan met Cade and they instantly connected. The couple dated through high school until Cade departed on a faith-based mission. Morgan decided to also embark on a mission, which meant the pair was apart for almost two and a half years. They kept their love alive through emails and letters. Morgan and Cade were reunited in December of 2016 never to be separated again.

Three months later, Cade planned a meaningful proposal. While on their mission trips, the couple exchanged a journal where they would write a letter each day over the course of months.

They finished the journal with a few pages left to spare. Cade wrote a heartfelt letter to Morgan on the last pages of their journal. After reading the letter, she looked to see her best friend on one knee.
