A Rustic Floral-Filled Wedding at The Laurel

Megan and Steven’s rustic wedding at The Laurel was full of fresh florals and springtime pastels. As one of the last weddings of spring 2020, before the coronavirus hit, this couple had a lot to be thankful for! Social media was the bride’s best friend when it came to picking out vendors and getting inspiration. But, at the end of the day, Megan emphasized that their ideas really came to life with their wedding planner’s help at MK Event Boutique. Between the gold, blush and creme theme and lighting from LeForce Entertainment, there was no shortage of light and airy vibes in this wondrous wedding. The bride wore a floral embellished A-line gown with a tulle overlay from a&be bridal shop, which paired perfectly with her pinned back hair and flawless makeup by Tease to Please Hair and Makeup. There are so many dainty details in this wedding, between the chapel ceremony’s rustic romance to the delicate decor provided by Lawson Event Rentals. We presume this wedding left the guests’ minds full of inspiration and tummy’s satisfied. To top it all off, Butterfly Cakery created a bold gold and flower power tiered cake. Sami Kathryn Photography captured all the vendors’ contributions and the couple’s love for one another. From the bride on her favorite wedding vendor: “Hannah, from MK Event Boutique, not only totally got my vision for the wedding day and brought it to life, but she made the day and the months leading up much less stressful. I am not a natural planner, so I was worried about the wedding planning process. However, Hannah totally took care of and thought of everything! She took so much off of our plate and made the wedding planning process actually enjoyable. On the day of the wedding, I was able to relax and enjoy the day and know that everything was going to run seamlessly!”
