Rustic Glam North Texas Wedding At The Milestone | Amanda + Nick
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Amanda and Nick met through mutual friends at Texas Tech University. Being the loyal Texas Tech alumni they are, Nick asked for Amanda’s hand on the 50-yard line of the Jones AT&T Stadium. After giving her several letters that reminded the couple of special memories they made at Texas Tech, Nick got down on one knee, and the rest is history.
THE SETTING: The Milestone is an elegant Southern mansion seated on a hill in the Texas countryside. The estate showcases large oak trees, a grand fireplace, beautiful ceremony room and elegant ballroom, among other breathtaking settings that make it such a warm and inviting location. The couple chose The Milestone because it offered the elegance and alluring vision they were looking for with its plantation design as well as a rustic reception venue they were able to turn into the perfect party barn for guests.
GET HER LOOK: A show-stopping Amsale Demi gown from The Bridal Salon at Neiman Marcus was a perfect fit with its fit and flare design. The gown’s tailored seams kept its structure and integrity from top to bottom while the back peplum offered unique personality. The sheer backing with classic button detailing and flowing train offered a timeless, fashionable design.
SAVORY SWEETS: Amanda and Nick wanted to have a rustic presence about their wedding, and what’s more perfect and rustic than a naked cake by Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery? The floral touches on the cake added some romance while the acrylic crest topper gave a personal touch. It was a delicious vanilla cake with blackberry cream cheese filling; light but with the perfect amount of flavor.
