The two modern lovebirds met while Emily was visiting Dallas back in 2016. The two matched on a dating app, but it took several months for the couple to meet finally in person. However, Emily and Rachel quickly became smitten with each other, and the rest is history! Emily proposed to Rachel first at Celestial Park after setting up a photoshoot with one of their friends. Rachel’s parents hid in the bushes and got to witness Emily popping the question. Within a month, Rachel proposed to Emily on a beach in San Diego surrounded by family and friends. Their rustic and modern wedding encompassed everything Rachel and Emily dreamed their special day would be. The couple opted to do a first look before their ceremony, which was their favorite moment of the day. Finally, it was time for the two to become one with an outdoor garden ceremony officiated by Emily’s brother. Guests and the couple then made their way into the rustic modern reception space with hues of dusty blue.
