Subtle Rustic Touches Go Perfectly in this Elegant Plum Wedding
by Brynlee Handy April 22
There are a few subtle rustic touches throughout this plum wedding planned and designed by Weddings by StarDust to be so full of simplistic elegance that they go just perfectly! Classic and clean with a bright white palette, grays and purply plum hues accent a timeless chapel ceremony where Rachel and Travis said “I do” in front of big, beautiful windows and a floral-adorned cross altar installation to honor their shared faith. Another lovely way Rachel incorporated tradition into their big day was through something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Her something old was her maternal great-grandmother’s handkerchief that was also carried by Rachel’s mother in her wedding as well as a silk flower made by her maternal grandmother. Her something new was a custom gown from LeAnn’s Bridal designed by the bride with help from fashion designer Matthew Christopher to feature an extended cathedral train and veil. She looks absolutely radiant in it, and we love it paired with her white bridal boots for a fun country touch! Her maternal grandmother’s pearl pin, as well as her mother’s pearl Tiffany & Co. bracelet given to her by Rachel’s father, served as the bride’s something borrowed, and she kept with her a Tiffany “Something Blue” charm. Tasteful décor from Lawson Event Rentals brings style and class while arrangements of romantic florals were strategically placed for the maximum amount of luxury around these wedding scenes. It’s impossible not to fall for this elegant plum wedding with a few rustic touches! Read on for a note from the bride about her favorite wedding day memory. Cheers to the Campbells!

From the bride: “Our favorite memory was all the fun we had celebrating with our family and friends at the reception. We enjoyed dancing, singing and partying the night away and will forever remember the great time we had with those that were able to attend.”
