With a touch of modernity and an abundance of vintage flair, this charming antique styled shoot from Gray Door Photography is every bit as elegant as it is relaxed and easy. To introduce the ambiance, Sarah Ann Design created a custom designed paper suite featuring a hand drawn venue sketch, simple foliage leaves and carefully handwritten calligraphy. Focusing the shoot around the tabletop, Beautiful Event Rentals provided the wooden table topped with airy linens, antique brushed silver serving trays and wild flower-esq arrangements with shades of ivory, maroon and blush. A delicious looking classic two-tier white frosted cake from Sugar Bee Sweets stood as its own centerpiece atop a gold cake stand, surrounded by pickings of fresh figs and grapes. Undoubtedly, the most antique inspiration came from the bride’s look; her relaxed updo was pinned in with a vintage rose barrette, which perfectly complemented her strappy sweetheart neckline, tulle skirt gown from Lovely Bride. Not a detail was missed in this gorgeous shoot! Enjoy!

From the photographer: “Inspired by the delicacy of wedding-day details, this shoot captures a feminine aesthetic and the romantic atmosphere of an intimate gathering. A neutral color palette with burgundy accents keeps the gallery organic and simple, letting heirloom details take center stage. Our hearts are captivated with the tiniest and most delicate details – the small things that, for a bride, become heirlooms of her love story: the fine lace trim of an antique sleeve, her dainty floral hairpin, a heartfelt love note from her husband-to-be. Against The Grove’s natural landscape, the tabletop sets an inviting outdoor scene. To cap the celebration, a slice of cake topped with finely crafted sugar flowers. Loose florals add texture and depth at every turn. The organic, oversized arrangements are bursting with big summer blooms and lush greenery. Delicate dahlias and blush roses pop against merlot-hued leaves and carefully layered botanical texture.”
