SWEET BEGINNINGS: Grace and Jake met their junior year of high school. They dated on and off for the next four years, and then were apart for several years. They knew within two weeks of getting back together that they wanted to get married!
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Grace drove up to Tulsa for Jake’s law review banquet at the Gilcrease Museum. After the banquet was over, Jake took Grace to a garden where he got down on one knee and proposed. Jake then surprised Grace by taking her to the rooftop of The Mayo Hotel where their friends were waiting with champagne.
HUES SHE USED: The couple wanted a fresh and elegant wedding mixed with romantic and bohemian touches. The color palette included silver, gray, soft pinks, peach and magenta. She loved the idea of having a mix of neural and bright colors.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: From the beginning, Grace knew she wanted to have hanging flowers over the head table. The second she walked in to the 42nd Floor Club, she knew it was the perfect location for an installation. It turned out perfectly!
VENDOR LOVE: One of Grace’s favorite parts of wedding planning was going to the flower market with her florist. Raquel of R Love Floral & Events, and her planner, Julie from Events by Jules. She enjoyed getting to be hands-on in picking out the flowers and seeing how it would all work together.
