North Texas wedding planner Events by Jade did an incredible job bringing Alexandria and Mitchell’s vision to life – this gothic boho wedding is pure romance! The moody hues of the fabulous florals by Everly Alaine coupled with the boho venue White Sparrow Barn are absolutely enchanting. Cheers to the happy couple!

Alexandria and Mitchell knew of each other through the motorcross community. She and her family traveled to the races each weekend to watch her brother compete. The pair met around a bonfire amongst family and friends following one such race in 2009. Alexandria messaged shy Mitchell soon after and the two developed a friendship. Over time, the friends drifted apart because of distance but reconnected in 2012. They started dating that spring and have been together ever since.

At the time of the proposal, Alexandria was studying at Texas Christian University and Mitchell was living in California. He was planning on coming to Texas for Thanksgiving and his mother had family photos scheduled during his visit. After his family took their photos, it was time for Alexandria and Mitchell’s turn. When she thought the photo session was over, the photographer called out, “Last one!” Confused, Alexandria turned to see Mitchell on one knee. Shocked, tears welled and she happily said yes to the best surprise!
