SWEET BEGINNINGS: Ashley and Taylor were introduced at a local Lubbock bar by her best friend. Ashley had just returned from a study abroad program in Prague and Taylor was about to depart for London. The couple hit things off and spent the night talking about where they had traveled and where they wanted to visit.
A PERFECT PROPOSAL: Taylor took Ashley to watch the sun set at 360 Bridge Overlook in his hometown of Austin. Taylor always wanted to take her there, so he arranged for a family friend to wait at the top to capture photos of the special moment. Once they arrived, Ashley didn’t suspect a thing and ran right by their friend trying to find a good spot to sit!
HUES SHE USED: Ashley found inspiration in the couple’s everyday wardrobe. She wanted the color scheme to be timeless and complement the pair in a beautiful way. She used jewel tones with gold accents that perfectly matched the Great Gatsby and high vintage glamour theme of the wedding!
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The bride’s favorite moment was when the couple placed the rings on one another. She was so nervous that she accidentally grabbed Taylor’s right hand and the pastor had to correct her. He made a joke about how if they didn’t get it right, the marriage might not count, which left everyone laughing!
VENDOR LOVE: Ashley thought Junior at The Garden Gate was fantastic and helpful with his honesty and bright ideas. Stephanie, the couple’s photographer, was wonderful and talented. She captured everything and got along great with the couple’s families. Since their special day went by so fast, Ashley and Taylor are so happy to have her beautiful photos to help them remember the details
