Courtney McMahon and Parker Ryan’s North Texas Wedding Featuring Query Events
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Courtney and Parker went on a trip to Winter Park Colorado, and to her surprise, he had a stunning proposal planned. While Parker is a natural at snowboarding, Courtney needed some lessons. After her ski lesson, sore and tired, Courtney made a phone call to her mom telling her how the day had gone. Her mom suggested going back up the mountain for one last run but Courtney decided to call it a day. The next morning, she went back up the mountain with Parker one last time. Once the couple got to the top of the mountain, Courtney couldn’t wait to get down as soon as possible. Parker insisted on taking a picture together while they were on the top of the mountain. Right before the picture was taken he got down on one knee and proposed!
BOHO CHIC: Inspired by the bride’s style, the couple chose a romantic vintage boho theme and used hues of burgundy/merlot, peach, blush, ivory, beige and hints of gold.
PRETTY PAPER: The invitations were custom designed by Goldie Design Co. The dark merlot envelopes made the gold hand-written calligraphy shine. The suite featured a beautiful floral design with gold foil lettering.
AMAZING ALTAR: To frame the space, Ambra Costner-Portillo with Query Events added a vintage white mantle decorated in flowers and candles at the top of the brick staircase.
THE SETTING: The bride fell in love with Aristide after just one visit. She loved how beautiful it was with its rustic Italian charm. Surrounded by lush greenery, Courtney and Parker wed on the brick staircase outside. In addition, she loved the stone walls and beautiful chandeliers inside.
VENDOR LOVE: Courtney absolutely loved working with her wedding planner, Ambra, and assistant, Macie Garner, with Query Events! She made the process easy and stress-free while also making Courtney’s vision come to life. Courtney couldn’t imagine doing everything without Ambra and her team.
