Organic Dallas Wedding from R Love Floral Captured by The Tarnos | Alyssa + Landon

SWEET BEGINNINGS: Landon and Alyssa met their sophomore year of high school at their church youth group. Although they went to different schools, they volunteered weekly together and became friends very naturally.

PERFECT PROPOSAL: After Alyssa’s college graduation, the couple took a trip to Florida with their close friends, Hannah and Austin. They had the chance to stay on the bay with Austin’s grandparents in a quaint, cottage-like house and spent their days at the beach, canoeing on the river and playing many games of Phase10.During their stay on the Emerald Coast, the group decided to have a day for the girls to separate from the boys before they all met up for a double-date night. When the girls returned to the house to change for the evening, they received a call from the boys telling them to meet by the beach house. When Alyssa walked through the front door, she was greeted by a trail of rose petals guiding her to a hand-written note and instructions to put on the white dress laid out for her. After she put on the dress, she was instructed to meet Landon out back. Excitedly, she walked out to see Landon standing in the white sand, smiling from ear to ear. As soft music played in the background, Landon pledged his love to Alyssa and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes!

THE SETTING: Alyssa and Landon loved The Springs Event Center! It was the perfect, natural, blank canvas they were looking for. The tall pine trees behind the ceremony space and the beautiful green showed off so nicely for their spring wedding. It instantly felt peaceful out in the woodsy rural area.

BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Alyssa could not have dreamed of better florals for her wedding! Her bridal bouquet was filled with blush peonies and roses, ivory hydrangeas and stalk, light orange Juliet roses and silver dollar and willow eucalyptus leaves.
