Taylor Sward and Kevin Larney’s Romantic Boho Wedding at Brik Special Events Venue
THEIR STORY: Taylor and Kevin met through mutual friends, but the slightly more detailed version of their story is a little more interesting. On a random Saturday evening, Taylor and a friend went out in Fort Worth to celebrate summer because of their teacher schedules. While at Capital Bar, the friends listened to live music and gravitated toward a group of young men. The ladies ended up spending the majority of the evening with the guys and later found out that they were celebrating their friend’s bachelor party. Taylor and her friend wound up talking with the groom-to-be for some time. After talking, his friend thought Taylor would be perfect for his best friend, Kevin, who had already left. Kevin’s friend promised they would be introducing Taylor to her future husband, and a short week later, he did just that!
THE SETTING: Taylor and Kevin’s venue BRIK used to be an old textile mill that backs up to train tracks near Downtown Fort Worth. The space offers a desired old feel with many modern updates. The beautiful wooden floors and interior brick walls were enough to win the bride over. Taylor loved that the venue didn’t require much décor. She loved the venue’s bridal suite that offers plenty of space. The venue also offers areas for the ceremony and reception; Taylor and Kevin’s ceremony took place upstairs and their reception followed immediately after downstairs.
RUSTIC ROMANCE: Taylor didn’t title her and Kevin’s theme or style; instead, it all just came together. The beginning stages emphasized rustic romance and then shifted to farm-to-table. What they ultimately ended up with was an absolutely stunning wedding.
